So far so good...

Yesterday Carinna went to the doctor for her 2 day check-up. She is doing very well and has not lost much weight and does not have jaundice. Yea!

In need of a bath...
Seeing sister for the first time.
He was pretty over whelmed about the hospital in general.

Watching for the helicopters. It was a pretty busy day for them at the hospital.
Opening Carinna's peace offering to him.
Carinna... 2 days old.
Holding Carinna for the first time... he liked her!

Looking at her eyes, lips, nose, etc.
Showing her how his new car works.
She was really interested... can't you tell?

Mother's Day

As part of our Mother's Day celebration this year we visited a neighborhood park. They have a new water pad with fountains, etc. The boy really loves it!

I like to call this one "HEY BABY!" That tiny little bikini must
really accentuate that cute baby belly!

He looks like such a baby in this one. So cute!

I think he had a pretty good time! It was pretty crowded, so we didn't stay too long... but that was no big deal to him. He was pooped by the time we left.

A shelf and the "baby sister"

The boy has discovered a new use for my belly. It seems that it works very well for parking his cars on. It will hold about 4 if he places them carefully. It was pretty funny.

We got a little girl doll as a shower gift a few days ago. Caden discovered it in her room the other day and felt the need to "take care" of her. He carried her all over the house... showing her his cars and play room, taking her for a ride in the dump truck, etc. There was also a lot of hugging and kissing (melt my heart)... and finally I dug out a bottle and he fed her too.

Of course, he also crammed her head into the blinds, used her as a step stool, ran over her with the previously mentioned dump truck, and laid on her. I just tried to pretend not to notice those things.
